Sizing Guide

At The Threaded Hen, every jacket is thoughtfully sewn to fit sizes XS–XL. Essentially, our pieces are one size fits most, but because each style is a little different, the fit can vary slightly.

We name each style with love and meaning, so you can pick a jacket that feels just right for you.

Each style is named after a remarkable role model who embodies strength, intelligence, determination, and independence.

Lizzy Lou

  • Named after my daughter Elizabeth: smart, classy and full of life 
  • Classic fit, hits mid-thigh
  • Long sleeves, designed with extra room for a rolled cuff
  • Perfect for everyday wear with a relaxed silhouette or fun out with friends

Eloise

  • Named after my mother: she taught me how to sew, has patience like gold and is always a phone call away
  • Slightly longer fit, elegant and cozy
  • Long sleeves, designed with extra room for a rolled cuff
  • Comfortable with a hint of tailored charm

Betty

  • Named after my mother-in-law: short, sassy and has raised 5 kids
  • Shorter cut, hits at the hip
  • Long sleeves, designed with extra room for a rolled cuff
  • Roomy and casual, great for layering

Pinky

  • Named after myself: a nickname my father gave me - he was a tall man. I have always said when God was giving out height, he could have given me another inch or two (I’m short and getting shorter with age)
  • Cropped style, playful and fun
  • Adds a bold, sassy touch to any outfit

Little AK

  • Named after my great niece: little, but mighty
  • Sized for the little ones in your life
  • Comfortable, easy to wear, and made to grow with them

Layer-Friendly

Wear over a shirt, sweater, or tee.

Longer Sleeves

Jackets have longer sleeves with room for a cuff. If you have longer arms, you can let them out for a perfect fit.
